Main responsibilities

As part of its strong growth, Focus Entertainment is looking for a Group Information Systems Director to help monitor, evaluate and optimize all the information systems of the group.


As a true orchestral conductor of the information systems organization, you define and execute the IT strategy for the HQ, as well as coordinating efforts with the group's studios.


Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, you efficiently maintain operations aligned with both global IT standards and local operational needs.


As such, your main responsibilities include:


1°) Drawing up the Group's IT strategy and policy:

  • You define strategic orientations and ensure IT security
  • You respond to the needs of the various departments and evaluate investments
  • You monitor technological developments in collaboration with the CTO


2°) Implement IT policy:

  • You ensure continuity of IT services and manage the development of information systems
  • You ensure internal consistency and facilitate interdepartmental liaison
  • You contribute to the design and operational maintenance of the information system


3°) Defining and monitoring IT budgets:

  • You manage the department's budgets, assessing and adjusting expenditure according to the technologies considered
  • You ensure cost control for modifications of the information system


4°) Outsourcing policy definition:

  • You analyze subcontracting offers and monitor relations with service providers.
  • You monitor the effectiveness of subcontractors' achievements throughout the contractual relationship


5°) Organization and management of the Group IT Department:

  • You supervise and coordinate IT departments
  • You optimize management organization
  • You ensure team sizing through training and recruitment
  • You evaluate individual and collective team performance


6°) Steering the organization :

  • You propose innovative uses for competitive advantage and integrate legal and ecological standards into IT project management.

Job requirements

  • You have a BAC+5 in Computer Development and/or Information Systems
  • You have more than 7 years' experience as an IT Manager or CIO in the video game industry
  • You have proven experience in cross-functional management and multi-partner project management
  • You have a very good knowledge of gaming-related technologies
  • You have a good knowledge of current operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, Linux, AD and Microsoft Office applications
  • You are familiar with the various networks (TCP/IP, VLAN, Ethernet, WIFI)
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You have a strong sense of service and organization
  • You have a good command of written and spoken English and French
